This 7 day course is required by law for an individual who wishes to apply for a SIA licence to work as a door supervisor.
The course covers the following modules:

- Application of Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry
- Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry

This is designed for learners who currently hold a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a door supervisor and need to renew it.
This course consists of the following units:
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Use of Equipment
- Terror Threat Awareness
- Application of Physical Intervention Skills

During this 1 day course, learners will develop the necessary skills associated with immediate life support, including:
- airway management
- patient assessment
- management of major illness/injury
- post-incident procedures
- Managing the Return of Spontaneous Circulation (RoSC)
- patient handovers and more.

SIA Security Officer Top Up Course
Thursday 14th - Friday 15th July 2022
Bridgwater, Somerset
This course is designed for learners who currently hold an SIA licence to work as a Security Officer and need to renew it.
It can also be taken by Door Supervisor licence holders who no longer require it and wish to downgrade to a Security Officer licence.
This course covers the following units:
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Principles of terror threat awareness
- Minimising personal risk for security officers.

Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health – Distance Learning
This course is delivered by way of home learning with an assessment which will be conducted and recorded via video call.

BTEC Level 2 Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events
Distance Learning
This course will give you the knowledge to work at spectator events as a steward. It comprises of 4 units:
- How Stewards Prepare for Spectator Events
- How Stewards Control the Entry, Exit and Movement of Spectators at Events
- How Stewards Monitor Crowds and Respond to Potential Crowd Problems at Spectator Events
- How to Respond to Injuries, Illnesses and Other Emergencies
