BTEC Level 2 Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events
This course will give you the knowledge to work at spectator events as a steward. It comprises of 4 units:
- How Stewards Prepare for Spectator Events
- How Stewards Control the Entry, Exit and Movement of Spectators at Events
- How Stewards Monitor Crowds and Respond to Potential Crowd Problems at Spectator Events
- How to Respond to Injuries, Illnesses and Other Emergencies
Level 3 First Response Emergency Care
Monday 24th - Friday 28th February 2020
The Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification specifically designed for those seeking a career in the emergency services, ambulance service, the event and security medical sector or those who work in high risk workplaces.
Over 5 days Learners will gain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to deal with a range of pre-hospital care emergencies, such as: managing a patient’s airways, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies and more
SIA Door Supervision
Tuesday 4th - Friday 7th February 2020
The Level 2 Award in Door Supervision has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for learners who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor within the private security industry.
The qualification comprises 4 mandatory units:
Unit 1 – Working in the Private Security Industry
Unit 2 – Working as a Door Supervisor
Unit 3 – Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry
Unit 4 – Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry
Combined First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid
Monday 24th - Wednesday 26th February 2020
Combining the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work and the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid into 3 extended days of classroom learning, this specially designed course provides Learners with all of the skills and knowledge needed to provide both adult and paediatric first aid, whilst minimising the number of training days required to achieve both qualifications.
This course has been specifically designed for those who work in settings that require both First Aiders and Paediatric First Aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.
Level 4 First Response Emergency Care
Monday 16th - Friday 20th March 2020
Fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level E, this fantastic qualification provides Learners with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to be able to deal with a wide range of Prehospital care emergencies, such as: major incidents, fracture immobilisation, sick and injured children, mental health problems and more.
